Happy Holidays 2025!

Hello Friends of North Brook Farm,

This Saturday, Nov 22nd, we will be back at the Berlin Art & Fine Craft Fair for the 17th year! See samples of the beautiful artwork that will be available https://www.facebook.com/BAFCFair We hope you can come visit.

Our seasonal Holiday Shoppe will open on Nov 28th.  The hours this year are Fri-Sun, 12-4, Nov 28 – Dec 21.  That’s only 4 weekends because of the way the holidays fall this year, but we can also open by appointment, if needed. Or you can visit the online shoppe, which offers local pickup even if we’re not here.

For the 3rd year, the bridge just south of our farm is still closed.  To get here, you need to access South Street from the north end of the street, at the junction of Linden St and Rt 62.  If you normally come from the south side of town (Rt 290, etc.), you will need to drive around the block to get to this junction.  Note that there is a detour sign at the north end of South St, as well as a large sign that says “BRIDGE OUT, ½ MILE AHEAD, LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY”.  Consider yourself local traffic and proceed to drive through. We are the last 2 houses before the closed bridge.

I will again put out some directional signs to help you, so please look for them:

The physical address for the Shoppe is 95 South Street, which is the yellow house across the street from the main farmhouse.  If you’re concerned about getting parked in in the long and narrow driveway, you may park in the driveway at 96 South Street where there is a bit more room.  The new location worked so well last year that we’ve kept it. Look for our new sign, decorated by local artist Suzanna Roberts of Holiday Farm in Berlin! It will soon be hanging on the house at 95 South St.

Finally, we are on track to join the Wayland Winter Farmers’ Market 2026 Season, beginning in January.  Our WWFM schedule has been loaded into the calendar on our events page, including the TWO very popular Farm Fiber Days!

As always, a quick “Pupdate”: Finn and Mila (and Bri) on the twins’ 3rd birthday.

Thanks for reading.  We hope to see you this holiday season.  But if we don’t, we wish you very happy holidays, and a happy and healthy 2026!

Laura and Michael
