Stay warm and look fashionable while supporting local farms!

Wool is warm, but can be super itchy.

Some people are allergic to the lanolin it contains.

Micro fibers can be warm, but are synthetic.

The process of making them is not sustainable.

Alpaca is softer, warmer and stronger than sheep’s wool.  It is a natural fiber, and very sustainable.  Alpacas tread lightly on our planet!

Alpaca is considered hypoallergenic because it doesn’t have lanolin and has a lower “prickle factor” (is less itchy)  than sheep’s wool.

We have a variety of stylish garments to keep you warm and comfy.  All of our products are made in USA, some hand made right here on the farm!

"I love my alpaca socks so much that I bought some for the whole family! And I love shopping locally so really appreciate being able to find you at the local markets and at your Holiday Shoppe!" - Penny, Westford MA

"Our longstanding collaboration with North Brook Farm has been a pleasure. Through the years, Laura Busky has brought a collection of natural color and dyed alpaca yarn from her flock to the farmers' market. The soft texture and warmth it provides is a treat for knitters, weavers and fiber artists. Laura's hand knits, woven and knitted garments have attracted a loyal following at the market. The addition of items from the alpaca fiber pool collaboration means that shoppers can also purchase socks, braided rugs, bags, boot liners and blankets.  Laura has always been generous with her time, answering questions about knitting, weaving and alpacas to anyone who stops by her booth."  - Peg Mallett, Wayland Farmers' Markets
