These hats are modeled after the “Jeep Caps” issued by the army starting in 1942. Unlike the army’s wool version, ours are made from 80% Alpaca, 20% Nylon.
Wash by hand or gentle machine cycle, cold water. Line Dry.
Description
This style hat was made popular by the character Radar O’Reilly on the hit TV show M*A*S*H. It has a short visor in front, and a cuff that can be pulled down over the ears and around the neck. The newly updated design also has a sewn in microfleece headband to block the wind and keep the hat fitting well.
The top of your head will still be able to breathe and exchange moisture through the alpaca jersey knit, keeping you comfortable, even if you break a sweat working out in the cold.
The sewn-in sturdy brim is pliable and will hold its shape over time, protecting your eyes from precipitation, so you can see and stay on the trail.
