Late Fall/Early Winter 2022

Hi Friends,

Our Fall was very busy with some unexpected changes.  The Wayland Summer Farmers’ Market season wrapped up in mid-October, and it was overall a very good season.  Many of you have heard, some of you haven’t, we lost Mick, our dear old sheltie, on 01Oct.  It was so hard finishing the Market season without him, as he had always been my sidekick.  Thanks to all of you who sent condolences or came by the Market to give emotional support.  There’s a huge hole in our lives without him, for sure.

Stony Acres “Mick”-iver, 2008-2022, RIP sweet bear

Last Saturday, we enjoyed another really good Berlin Artisans Art and Fine Craft Fair, and we are now getting ready to open our seasonal Holiday Shoppe here at the Farm.  Beginning on 26Nov, we will be open Saturdays from 11am-2pm, until Christmas (including Christmas Eve).  We are opting to keep the Shoppe set up outside in the shed again this year, mostly for our personal convenience.  We have a new firepit that we plan to light (if it’s not precipitating), and being outside you can visit the alpaca “Al Pacino” while you shop.  Saturdays aren’t good for you?  Please contact us to arrange another time that might work for both of us!  Or feel free to visit our online store.  We offer shipping for $10, or free pickup at the farm.

As usual, we plan to shut down the week between Christmas and New Year so we can re-group before joining the Wayland Winter Farmers’ Market on 07Jan.  Meanwhile, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.  We are particularly grateful for all of you, our friends and family!

See you at the Shoppe!

Laura & Mike
