Saturday, 05Dec2020, is a sort of special day here in Berlin. Traditionally, the first Saturday in December has been designated “Christmas in Berlin”, a town wide celebration to kick off the holiday season. The Berlin Lions Club will still hold the lighting ceremony in the Town center, but many of the other traditional activities have gone by the COVID wayside this year.

Berlin Senior Citizens to the rescue! They’ve organized a very fun Holiday Lighting Contest, with many households, businesses and neighborhoods signed up to participate!! North Brook Farm has always decorated with lights for the holidays, and this year is no exception. In fact, this year we’re adding a little extra fun to our mostly classic lighting display. Even if you don’t live in Berlin, please do feel free to drive thru town and enjoy the “Twinkle Tour”! Contest dates are 05Dec-19Dec, for anyone wanting to vote.

For special fun this Saturday (05Dec2020) only, we are going to try to keep the Shoppe open 11am-7pm! I say “try” because the weather may not cooperate. But we’ll do our best.
